This was our first stay at this romantic cottage by the river. The place is even more beautiful in person than in pictures. Shannon is very quick to answer if you have any questions. Our first night there we used the grill and noticed there were no grilling utensils . We contacted her and the very next day she showed up with brand new Weber cooking utensils! The cottage was spotless when we arrived and Shannon thinks of little details to make your stay more pleasant. For instance you will find pancake mix, syrup, butter and half and half for your coffee in the fridge. Beautiful white throws are left on the couch and big comfy chair! The view out to the river is so relaxing. Fire pit was a plus. We would definitely consider returning !

We had a great mini vacation! Our stay was restful and relaxing. Despite the soaring heat of 95 to 100 degrees daily, we had an amazing stay in this beautiful and inviting waterfront home. We were kept cool and comfortable throughout the hot days and enjoyed the warm nights by the water. We appreciated every detail that went into creating this enchanting home. Shannon was incredibly accommodating to our needs and was always available. Thank you Shannon 😊

Shannon is a fantastic superhost. Truly lovely waterfront home in a beautiful natural setting. Decor, comfortable furnishings, and impeccable cleanliness make this homelike setting a highly desirable go to location for anyone needing a much needed break!

This property was very lovely. Everything was neat and clean. We enjoyed the location and definitely used the kayaks and the fire pit.

We spent three relaxing days at the river house. The view is divine...so peaceful. We read, played games and sat on the deck watching the water. Just the most stress free, enjoyable time. It really is a sanctuary. We'd love to come back in the fall for the foliage and a fire in the fire pit. Very highly recommended!
