Yvonne and Jim at Salem River Inn are warm and gracious hosts ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The views are beautiful 🌊🚢🌊🌅 and breakfast on the deck is an epic experience 🥞🍦 ☕️ that you don’t want to miss! We took our youngsters and they thoroughly enjoyed both the porch swing and all the green space where they could run around 🌳

A slice of paradise. We truly enjoyed our 3 night stay at Yvonne’s place. We sought to get away from the city in search of peace and quiet- and we found it. We loved taking the kayaks out on the Delaware river. Our 4 y/o also enjoyed picking wildflowers on the property which boasts truly scenic views of the waterfront. We also used her place as a stepping point to explore Delaware and it’s beautiful beaches. Her place was clean and included a hearty breakfast from the local diner. Thank you for being such gracious and kind hosts!

We had planned to stay 2 nights, but circumstances required us to stay only one night. We checked in in the evening and out the next morning around 11AM. The morning gave us a chance to explore a bit to the beach after breakfast, it was really nice. Yvonne was a perfect host: thoughtful, kind, attentive, and professional. The pictures are accurate: the setting is beautiful. The location is in a rural/ farmland part of NJ that I didn't know about. We would definitely return. (A note about evening food options: we were exhausted from a lot of driving and delays, and hadn't eaten. But the time we looked over some local restaurant delivery options (there are only a few, it being a rather remote location), we were too late: the places stop delivering at 7:30 or 8pm. We got by on some left over sandwiches and packed snacks. So if you arrive around 7 or 8pm or there after : be prepared to travel for food, or bring your own. The fridge in the room is a nice convenience.)
