Came down for a long weekend to celebrate my partner’s birthday. Beautiful accommodation, the photos don’t do it justice. We had everything we needed and enjoyed winding down and relaxing by the fireplace in the evenings. Great location too - We enjoyed wine tasting at some incredible wineries in the area and had a pretty perfect dinner at Moke on Flinders 10min drive away.

Calum was so friendly, helpful and kind. We adored his place! It was perfect. We only wish we could have stayed longer!

I would not have booked if I had known I had to haul my luggage across a field while still recovering from back injury. * House designed & decorated with an eye for beauty & appreciated the library & cookbooks made available - pots & pans & knives etc were good quality. * Accomodated an earlier check-in which was appreciated. Cons: * Check-in communication was abrupt, unhelpful & late: The day before host confirmed earlier check-in available mid-afternoon - then waited until after 8pm to say 'the doors will be open so you can let yourself in' - no information about keys until 2hrs later - an abrupt 'the keys will be in the doors'. * Access - VERY POOR: To get to the property you have to park outside the park perimeter & then walk across the field of grass, 20m< Not suitable for suitcase wheels - no access path at all. * No hairdryer - sink flooded while we were there - stove cut out while cooking breakfast - fridge needed a good clean & leaked a little, shower needed clean.

We had a lovely stay at Calum’s place. The accommodation is exactly as described and looks like the photos. It’s very calm and peaceful and located just a short drive away from the wineries. Calum was super easy to communicate with, responded almost instantly and even gave us some great recommendations for the local farmers market. We’d definitely come back!
