Probably my favorite airbnb ive been to. Loved having the private beach access, tons of space in the house, fully stocked kitchen for all cooking needs and a great supermarket in town. Highly recommend going in summer season so the beach is more usable, but we loved the view nonetheless. Spent most of our time hiking the surrounding state and national parks. Our dog seemed to love the place just as much as we did.

The home was beautiful and spacious! The beach was beautiful even in the winter, this place would be perfect for summertime!

Exactly what you want in a lake house without the fuss. The house was great! We had Thanksgiving there with nearly 20 people total and space to spare. We loved that it was clean, well cared for but unpretentious- it made having kids playing much more enjoyable. The view is gorgeous, sun or snow! If you are thinking of bringing the family, just do it. You will not be sorry.

I really wanted to love the place. Location was as expected, secluded and away from town. It was difficult to find and the directions on AirBNB did not match what the house rules information sheet said. It was dated and unkept from what it looked like in photos. Many nail holes, a few holes in walls, just seems to have needed some maintenance. The guest tablet they had was a nice touch, but again AirBNB said one thing and the house info when we go there was different, ie we missed trash day because of confusion. Ultimately it was a place to stay for the week with family and friends, but sadly I don’t think I would go back.

10/10! Beautiful and quiet! I’d definitely return to this location or another of Freshwaters rentals! We didn’t need to communicate much with them, but they were responsive and everything was as described! Such a relaxing stay! Side note: just watch out for the poison ivy. We noticed some just along the driveway and the path to the beach. Nothing against the rental agency, that’s hard to control… just a heads up!
