My partner and I really enjoyed our stay at this gorgeous and unique spot! It was well stocked with everything we needed for our time there, the homemade granola was just as good as everyone said it would be, and it was filled with gorgeous art made by our host! It’s clear that Ippy has amazing tastes for interior design, landscaping, and also restaurants. The recommendations she gave were top notch.

In early April 2024, my wife and I were traveling in North Carolina. We stayed for four nights in Hillsborough at a place that was truly distinctive. Ippy has created a very special space, a cross between an artist's studio and a thoughtfully constructed living space. The small cabin is elegant, inviting, and comfortable. The main room has a comfy bed and cool but understated furniture. It is decorated tastefully with distinctive pieces of Ippy's artwork. There are perfectly placed windows and a small skylight, as well a ceiling fan. There is a small pantry with a small microwave and a handy fridge, as well as a nicely sized bathroom. There was lots of light, and the place was very clean. Just across the driveway is a lovely pond with spots to sit and relax. The whole feel of the place is relaxing and engaging. We loved the home-made granola and explored a few of the favorite restaurants from the list Ippy provided. We are looking forward to a chance to stay there again!

The stay was as advertised. Beautiful, serene, and quiet... It is a lovely place for relaxation and rejuvenation. We enjoyed our time!

Ippy's place was the peaceful, calm, simple getaway that my son & I so desperately needed. We absolutely loved being there and hiking, painting, canoeing, and spending good slow time together. We had dinner at the Farmhouse in Chapel Hill -- such a unique steakhouse worth checking out! Ippy's place is such a dream. If you need a peaceful, restorative getaway in nature, make this your next spot.

What a lovely stay I had over this long weekend. The cottage is so peaceful and beautiful, with the perfect touches to make me feel very welcome, including the yummy granola! Ippy’s art is amazing and I loved being surrounded by it. I also loved sitting by the pond to read, and the setting just made me want to hang out all day! The bed was soft and comfortable and linens felt luxurious. I loved exploring Hillsborough and there are few farm stands closeby along with New Hope Market. The stay was absolutely just what I needed.
