Beautiful and spacious cottage minutes from Ribchester and Longridge. We had a wonderful week at the cottage with plenty of room for a family of 4. There are 2 extra large bedrooms, a large living and dining area and amazing views across the countryside. It was everything we wanted for a home away from home stay right in the heart of the Ribble Valley.

A beautiful, clean, well kitted out, and comfortable home (A++ for incredibly comfy beds!), a spectacular setting, a warm and welcoming host, all combined to make this our best stay ever in this area and we cannot wait to come back! The views are truly gorgeous, the walking paths right off the cottage provide loads of opportunity to get gentle or vigorous exercise -- your choice! -- and there are lovely cafes, pubs and restaurants nearby. My children have made me promise we won't ever stay anywhere else when visiting our extended family up north, and I'm quite happy to oblige :-)

Davis Gate is a very beautiful cottage. Nickie is very hospitable. She has cookies and stuff for us on our arrival and explained very well how to use the amenities. She has lots of suggestions on what to do and where to eat in her cottage 'handbook'. Her suggestion of New Drop Inn is fantastic! Lovely people at the inn and great food. Thanks, Nickie!

Our favourite Airbnb we have stayed in so far. Perfect two bedroom cottage with a fantastic setting across the Ribble Valley. Would highly reccomend to any couple with toddlers as they can always be seen and heard and our two year old loved buzzing around from room to room. The 4/5 steps up into the main bedroom made it just perfect for us not to worry about her exploring. The showers were powerful and hot and the cooking facilities were all at hand. A DVD player kept us entertained in the evening after each days excursion. Location is a bit out the way so again for us... perfect. We found that Longridge, a few miles down the Road also had a Sainsbury's for bits and Bob's and a great little Chinese for a takeaway. Finally Nickie, the owner was a real pleasure to host. She met us on arrival and told us all what we needed to do and showed us other stuff in the cottage that was relevant. Great memories were made over these four days and the cottage played a big part in that. Thank you from me and my family.
