Great family home with large rooms and lots of space. Perfect for our needs. Good location. Decor and furnishings are quite dated, but this is shown in the pictures and did not affect our stay. Only having one bathroom is slightly inconvenient.

This is a lovely house. We stayed as a party of six, plus a Guide Dog, to attend a family christening near by. The rooms are very large, with a great dining suite and really comfortable bedrooms. Very cosy - I think the duvets were down filled, which might be relevant to future guests with allergies. The kitchen is well equipped. Although the house would benefit from some more modern decor it doesn’t detract from its comfort. There are beautiful views of the Dales from the front facing windows and we enjoyed listening to a vocal tawny owl in the garden one night. The garden is lovely for those staying during warmer weather. We didn’t do as much in the local area as I would have on a leisure stay (as opposed to a family-visiting trip), but I can imagine the surrounding landscape is gorgeous for walks. We also took a day trip to York and visited Tropical World and Skipton Castle with our children. Had a lovely breakfast at Betty’s Tearooms, which is a bucket list Yorkshire treat.

Very spacious and well located house in a quiet area. Warm and well equipped with plenty of instructions provided. Good sized bedrooms with comfy beds and useful downstairs toilet. Very close to Ilkley town centre - short drive or around 15 minutes walk. We very much enjoyed our stay and would stay there again. Many thanks.

Don’t book this accommodation if any doubt over cancellation. No compassion shown. Fridge and heating turned off on arrival - unwelcoming. check out 9 am on a Sunday - too early especially when check in 4pm. Interior requires modernisation.

Great area! This is the best way to stay in West Yorkshire! Charming little house but easily able to house seven comfortably!
