Carlo's place was exactly what we were hoping for - conveniently located near downtown SD and only 6-8 minutes away from the Convention Center. The home had everything we needed for our stay, and a nice bonus was that our furry friend was delighted to have a small yard to stretch his legs between walks. The only minor inconvenience was finding parking; although there was free parking available, it tended to be crowded, and some nights we had to park two blocks away from the home. However, on the bright side, the area felt safe. We were grateful for the earplugs provided by Carlo. He was upfront in his listing about the plane noise, so providing a solution was much appreciated. If I find myself traveling to SD again with my pet, I wouldn't hesitate to consider Carlo's place.

Carlo's place was amazing, felt right at home. Carlos was very accommodating and his place was beautiful - in the heart of San Diego! Will definitely be coming back soon. Highly recommend this place.

Stay at this location was pleasant. The issue with dirty linens was easy to resolve. However, cleaning crew seemed to have an attitude when they had to return to provide clean linens.

This place was just the get away I needed! The house was the perfect size for 2 people, comfortable and clean. Only thing that could be a turn off is that it is in the flight line of the airport and the airplanes are quite loud BUT you get used to it super fast!

Unit was as described including being in the landing or takeoff pattern for SAN, so planes would pass overhead at about 200-300ft, ear plugs were provided to help with the noise (though I opted not to use them and slept without issue). I really only found the planes slightly bothersome when if I was in the unit in the mornings or evenings. The bathroom is small, but useable, but just a heads up the shower head is low, I had to bend over slightly at 5’-8”. Plenty of towels were provided. The only minor negative I experienced was a broken kitchen faucet upon checkin, but after notifying Carlos and his team they had it taken care of the following afternoon. Overall a great place to stay and easily cheaper than a hotel in that area of San Diego.
