I was not able to stay at Johanna. The morning of our arrival, my husband was rushed to the ER with seizures. I cancelled the reservation through Airbnb and was not afforded a refund. Within minutes, Johanna called Airbnb and very graciously told them to fully refund me, which they did. Johanna could not have been more understanding of our situation.

The location of this airbnb was perfect, as we were there for a race taking place on the rail trail. The house truly is just a short walk across a meadow with a very nice trail down to the rail trail. Being able to bring our dog was a huge help, and we were so thankful for that. The airbnb also had pretty much anything you would need for a long weekend stay--coffee, creamer, shampoo, soaps, conditioner, tissues, paper towels, etc. However, we are more private people and tend to prefer less contact from our hosts. This host is VERY attentive and communicative. There were sweet touches, like homemade cookies and her desire to build a fire for us both nights. However, the in person and phone communication was much more than we are accustomed to. If you are someone who wants to make friends with your host, then this place will be perfect for you. If you are more private people who expect less contact with your host, this may not be the best fit.
