Mary is the most amazing air bnb host! We came for the great 2024 total eclipse with a group of 16 travelers and she was incredibly accommodating. It was like meeting a long-lost relative or being taken care of by a 19th century inn-keeper. Can't wait for our next trip to Niagara! Oh and the (not-so) secret breakfast included an abundance of fruit, bread, eggs, treats, tea/coffee etc... simply the best. (this is a repeat of my other reviews because we booked 5+ rooms!)

10/10 for hospitality. 7/10 for the place. It was a little cold but the host provided a heater later. It was also lil noisy and there were many people in the building but I guess that's because of NYE. The surprise breakfast fruit plate was great. Apparently the place has lots of antiques but that's not for me. Overall, it's a good place but it should be a lil cheaper.

Staying at Mary's AirBnb was lovely. We were prepared from the description that we'd be sharing a bathroom, so that wasn't an issue. Mary offered us a light breakfast: scrambled eggs/cheese, toast/bagels, pie, coffee/tea & a beautiful, large fresh fruit plate! The historic house is well decorated with antiques and vintage items, and Mary was excited to tell us how she obtained each item. Mary also took us on an entertaining tour of the house in which we learned some history of the hosue and area. Each room was immaculately decorated, color coordinated & filled with fun decor. Mary offered free off-street parking, and we were able to walk to Niagara Falls (including Clifton Hill, the falls and attractions) - it was approximately at 20 minute walk to the falls. Castle Victoria was also a 5-minute walk to various ethnic restaurants. It was great that Castle Victoria is just a block from the Niagara River Recreation Trail, which led us to great attractions and Niagara on-the-Lake.
