Gorgeous views from every window and beautiful spots to enjoy your coffee and quiet indoors and outdoors too. And yet less than 15min from downtown. We were well cared for from start to finish in this historic home and Sam was an excellent host. Our daughters especially loved being so close to the cows and walking the quiet country road. Kitchen was well appointed and beds and linens were comfortable. We would love to return.

Our stay at the farmhouse exceeded our expectations. The beautiful interior that held so many period pieces, the unique experience staying in a log cabin that had ample room to relax and the beautiful surroundings made this a wonderful choice. The host was proactive in reaching out, friendly to the whole family and invited our boys to experience farm life by feeding the cows. The stay at this farm was a highlight of our spring break.

What a beautiful, idyllic weekend getaway! We had such a lovely time and can’t wait to come back. The historic home was spacious, warm and inviting. Our favorite thing was hearing about the history of the house, seeing the cows in the surrounding pasture, and visiting nearby Staunton to walk around and take in a play.

What a serene, artsy location situation among rolling hills and pastures. The furnishings are authentic antiques. Sitting by the gaslight fireplace a was incredibly relaxing. Every detail was provided. Can’t wait to return!
