The apartment is less than 10 minutes driving from Ciampino airport. The bus from the airport stops in the Leonardo da Vinci square near the apartment and at the train station. The apartment is in the centre of Ciampino, 4 minutes walking distance from the train station. You can easily reach Rome Termini central station in 15 minutes (3/4 trains an hour). There are several supermarkets, shops, restaurants and pizzerias nearby. The apartment is comfortable for 2 people, but there's room for 5. Apartment with fully equipped kitchen and relaxing zone with sleeping-couch. Really comfortable queen size bed and a single bed in the bedroom. Bathroom including large shower. You can have your breakfast sitting outside on the balcony.

L’appartement était très propre et conforme aux photos. Il était très bien équipé avec tout ce qui peut être utile. Barbara est très accueillante et nous a beaucoup aidé suite à quelques problèmes durant notre voyage. Nous lui en sommes très reconnaissants.

Barbara es una excelente anfitrión desde antes de nuestra llegada estuvo al pendiente de nuestros detalles de viaje, horarios, aeropuerto etc. No acompaño al supermercado para poder tener comida ya que llegamos de noche. El departamento está a 3 minutos caminando de la estación de tren y se hacen 15 minutos a Roma Teemini; en la zona hay comida y supermercados. Todo estaba muy limpio y no tuvimos molestias de ruido con los vecinos. Pudimos lavar ropa y todo funcionaba Perfecto. Viajamos con dos niños y a mi niña de 3 años le encantaron los libros infantiles que tenía.

Ciampino has a centre with many supermarkets, bars, pizzeria's, restaurants and shops. There's also a supermarket open 24/7
The apartment is in the centre of Ciampino, 3 minutes walking from the train station.
From Ciampino it's very easy to take the train to the main train station in Rome: Termini. (only 15 minutes by train)
There are also a few trains going to Rome Tiburtina.
A trainticket from Ciampino to Rome costs €1,50. A metro or busticket in Rome also costs €1,50.
A daily ticket for the train Ciampino - Rome and metro+ bus in Rome costs €8.
A weekly ticket for the train (Ciampino -Rome) + metro and bus in Rome costs €34,50.
With these daily and weekly ticket you can also take the train to:
*Frascati , a nice town, 15 minutes from Ciampino with many bars and restaurants.
*Castel Gandolfo, where you can visit the summer residence of the Pope.
*The Albano lake, (the same train station as the residence of the Pope) a vulcanic lake where you can swim, rent canoes, boats, ecc. (15 minutes by train)
*Albano, another small town with nice shops and bars and restaurants. (15 minutes by train)
Ostia, where you can go to the seaside and to Ostia Antica.
