Artie and the team are very responsive. The house was very clean, main bed very comfortable. Everything was very nice. Unfortunately the weather didn’t play nice with us, not their fault. The neighbors also had siding done while we were there, so pounding from 9-5. So not happy with that. Again not their fault but probably aware of the situation since they rented days before we got there. Again, would recommend, beautiful place, lots of birds, beautiful lake.

Great place to stay! House was ready for us when we arrived. House has everything you need for your stay. Close to the docks and town. Even though we did not have time, the firepit and chairs were left out to to be used to warm up after a cold day from coming off the ice.

If you are heading to Ortonville MN, Artie’s is the place to stay. The view from the outside deck is absolutely stunning. Getting to relax in rocking chairs and fire-pit right outside back door is the perfect way to end the day. Fishermans dream just two plots down from public boat ramp makes the lake extremely accessible. Ice fishing even better to walk straight out on. The cabin is stocked and completely organized that made finding anything you need so easy. Bunkbeds, futon and queen sized private room make it comfortable to sleep plenty with extra fluffy blankets. After having a delicious meal at Lakewood restaurant just down the street, it was wonderful to have a huge plush couch to plop on and hang out. Second stay at Artie’s Lodge and will continue to book for future fishing and mini getaway trips.

This is the second time we have stayed here and it has always been great for our family while we do some hunting. Great location and beautiful views. He has been accommodating for us as well.
