Great location for an easy walk to the Padre Pio sanctuary. Parked the car right outside our room. Lots of restaurants to choose from. Particularly right next door at the family Mood Cafe. The room was very modest and comfortable.

Matteo’s place is a great spot if you are headed to the shrine at San Giovanni Rotondo. Its about 10 minute walk to the Sanctuary and all the shops and restaurants. The apartment is affiliated with the Solaris Hotel and Restaurant two doors down, where 3 meals a day are available if you choose. The rooms are easily accessible with a lift and include all the necessities for a short or longer stay. The bed was comfortable and the AC worked well. There is an inexpensive coffee and snack machine in the hallway. The apartment has a coin operated Washer and Dryer for those needing laundry. Our host Matteo was responsive and helpful and always available (or one of his other family members that operate this lodging!)
