Extremely satisfied the renovated building is quite remarkable. All of the rooms are designed with excellent decor. Clean linen towels and abundance of tranquility.

The beds were comfortable . The room was cozy with a private entrance, close to the morning breakfast and fresh coffee. I would definitely request this place to friends. Rick is a great host. Excellent sense of humor.

We stayed in the Amish room for two nights on a mini vacation from Minneapolis and absolutely loved it! The room was quirky and cute and had everything we needed for our stay. The location is great, too. You can walk to anything in Lanesboro. We brought our own tubes and walked to the river by the dam and did a 30-minute float down to the bridge, then were able to walk back to the hotel, which made for a great hassle-free and $0 activity. We also did a bike ride to Peterson along the root river trail, and drove along the scenic byway. Overall, we highly recommend the Amish room and Lanesboro!
