Great historic restoration hotel in a Norman Rockwell town. Staff were friendly, room was clean, bed comfy and decor was current but accented with the history of the place. Close to rivers and the west TN countryside is gorgeousness. Cool little cafe attached but it didn't open till we'd already gone to breakfast. I'd recommend, "Kyles Mom's Place", about 2 blocks down the street. Kyles mom serves a great cooked to order breakfast.

The breakfast was the bomb.com! The owners were sooo great and very helpful!! The bed was too hard for me, but great for someone who likes a more firm bed. The room was not dirty to the eye, but when you walked on the floors you could tell they had not been cleaned. The owners have special events that they do and I can’t wait to come back for another short vacay! :)

The commodore is a wonderful boutique hotel in a very pretty and quiet small town. We booked it as a last minute stop on our drive and it turned out to be such a wonderful experience.
