My stay at Hilary's was perfect, and exactly what I was looking for. It was relaxed, comfortable and friendly; and Hilary was absolutely lovely, always being kind and helpful.

Hilary's place was one of those that I always would go back to or recommend to anybody. She was exceptionally helpful with picking me up at another station and friendly through and through.

Hillary's room was big and comfortable with an armchair and a desk which I found most useful. I had sole use of the bathroom and shared use of the kitchen. Hillary was most kind and helpful. It is a sixteen or so walk to the Byfleet and New Haw Station and 5 minutes to the bus stop to West Byfleet and Woking.

Hilary is a wonderful host. She is helpful, caring and concerned that her visitors are comfortable in every way. I stayed for two nights. The house is three storeys and I enjoyed the top floor to myself overlooking a leafy and quiet cul-de-sac. On the first day, Hilary offered to pick me up from her local railway station, but I determinately walked the 20 mins. distance. I regretted it because dragging a suitcase on an exceptionally hot afternoon made it feel much longer. Hilary very kindly offered to give me lifts to the station after that which were then gratefully received! Visiting RHS Wisley is easy from Byfleet and New Haw station. You take the train for two stops to Woking from where a shuttle bus carries you to the gardens. I didn't make use of the kitchen in the evenings, only for breakfast and cups of tea, but I had the feeling that it was fine to make yourself at home. A very pleasant stay indeed.
