Seb was so welcoming, the location was fantastic and the kitchen was stocked with basics like milk, bread, cereal and tea and biscuits. The flat was clean, the beds were comfortable and it was great to be in walking distance of everything we wanted to do.

The Airbnb was in a great location, so easy to get into York centre. Looked just like the photos and very comfortable house.

The very best place to stay, right on the city walls and such a fantastic host. Seb was wonderful to deal with, with clear messages and so welcoming. This space above the salon is so homey and welcoming. From the lovely chalk board messages and welcome cookies to the ultra comfortable beds, this stay would be a highlight of our trip. Having lived in the city previously, we were not looking for any of the usual spots to visit, but if you are this is the best location to everything. Our next trip back to York, we will be booking with Seb again.

This was a perfect base for us, so close to the centre of York. Views of the walls from the property were great! The property was a lot more spacious than we’d realised and the bedrooms were perfect for us and our kids. Despite reading reviews that mentioned noise we found it to be pretty quiet as our window in the main bedroom had a screen that kept this to a minimum. Really clear instructions to get to the property and lots of helpful messages around too. The only thing we wished was that we had more time in York so we’ll definitely be coming back and booking again!
