We had a nice stay at Alexey's place. The house was lovely and close to a lake where it was possible to swim and go fishing. Alexey was very helpful and gave us recommendations so we had things to do, even with the rain.

We stayed at the cozy cottage of our lovely host as a base for the Saimaa Cycle Tour, but we would return for ice fishing or daytrips to the beautiful landscape during summer, too.

A lovely cabin situated in a stunning part of Finland. Check in was easy and the rooms were very clean when we arrived. Alexey is an excellent host and gave us useful information about the area and things we could do - a highlight was rowing the boat that’s included in the stay across the lake. Access to the lake is easy along the road and the nearest supermarket is not too far. Sauna is fantastic. It was also very peaceful and quiet - there are only a couple of neighbours near the cabin and we hardly saw anyone during our time here so we had a lot of privacy. Overall highly recommend!
