The place was very big and comfortable. We were 8 people, and with the 3 bathrooms and 4 rooms it made things very easy. The house was well equipped regarding the kitchen, and also with electronics / music. For the ski (we had many beginners), we used the car, it was close but felt like the best choice. Villars has both a completely free beginners area, and nice blue pistes up the slopes. We were there end of December and there was not too much snow (none at the village, it only snowed a bit once while there) but that's just luck, and we did some other sport activities at Villars. Only slight negative, the 2nd car had to be parked 6-7 minutes away uphill, as there is only one place in front of the house. Overall, we greatly enjoyed our holiday stay at this loft.

We had a wonderful time at Laurence’s place! The apartment has 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom and two common spaces allowing it to comfortably accommodate a lot of people. The kitchen is modern and fully equipped, suitable for cooking all kinds of meals (albeit it feels a bit tight if there is more than one person cooking). We also appreciated the interior: it is very tasteful, so spending time in the apartment was just delightful.

We had a great stay at Lauence's place in Gryon. The apartment uses the space very well and thus fits 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, with 2 of bathrooms ensuite and quite small, and one large bathroom with a combined shower/tub. Very good beds and mattresses. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped, with sharp knives, many appliances, Nespresso coffee machine, lots of pots and pans, and a large fridge - freezer combination. There is also a dining corner with a large table that comfortably fits 9 people and lots of plates and tableware. One of the best features of the apartment for us was the fast WiFi and the huge TV screen in the living room wall that included Swisscom, AppleTV and Netflix etc. Kids and adults much enjoyed an evening of watching movies. We did not use the fireplace, although it is operational and usable, which I think is an additional great feature. The apartment contains the owners belongings and thus can seem a bit crowded, and I would not recommend the place for any family with rowdy and/or young kids (or adults for that matter) as there is much potential to damage the place and many of the breakable things the apartment is decorated with. Overall, Gryon/Villars is a typical exclusive ski resort in the Swiss Pre-Alpes - not very high (so snow is not ensured), relatively old lift installations, by far not enough parking spaces, and quite expensive. This is also reflected in the price of this listing, so I would recommend it as a treat, for an exclusive stay with great amenities, but not necessarily for cost-effectiveness.

The accommodation is lovingly furnished and offers a magnificent view of the mountains. The infrastructure regarding train connection, shopping facilities and ski lift are good. We felt very comfortable and were informed about everything that was necessary. On behalf of all our fellow travellers we would like to thank you for a wonderful holiday week in Gryon.
