The location and cabin were wonderful. Very spacious and peaceful. Not too many people around, very quiet. Unfortunately we had ants on main floor. The host brought us ant spray 5 hrs after initial contact. The cabin was fairly clean. Trash wasn't emptied and some of the bathrooms could have been cleaner. Fire pit was nice and they provided wood. Very small store with only a few supplies to purchase. Had to pay for the extra activities: kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing and zipline at the store. Pricing and information on rentals was confusing. Could have been listed clearer in our arrival book in the cabin. We liked swimming in the small lake with the bounce pad. No life guard on duty. Also no instructor or life guard at the bigger lake with the kayak. Overall nice, quiet place to stay.

Beautiful place for a retreat. The property is amazing and the cabin is beautiful and comfortable. I would highly recommend this location.

I had an excellent stay at deer cabin. All photos and amenities were accurate and it allowed for me to have a nice and relaxing stay.

There is so much to do and see here. The stores in town are close and the people are very nice. We loved everything.
