A lovely place to stay, even in winter when the weather could be better. All household items including fresh linen were provided by Diane which made staying here a real pleasure and very restful. If the countryside isn't enough then Lincoln is only a short drive with other towns also fairly near. We recommend staying here and are considering another stay ourselves.

What a cosy, little gem! The photos don't do it justice, it was a perfect retreat away from the fireworks over New Year. We took our golden retriever who loved his stay and sniffing round the village which was very festive (loads of lights!) Diane was great at communicating and the property was really easy to find. Would highly recommend and would love to stay again.

This property is absolutely incredible, exuding a delightful warmth and coziness. The fact that the host welcomes dogs is a huge plus for us. Moreover, the host's exceptional communication skills and willingness to accommodate a self check-in for our late arrival truly impressed us. We highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a peaceful retreat away from the busy city life.

We had a great stay at Diane’s place - it was absolutely spotless! Very easy to find- excellent instructions. Great location - about 15-20 minutes from both Newark and Lincoln, which were both so picturesque. The village is very quiet - beautifully peaceful. The ‘Old Garage’ was warm and cosy, and the perfect size for 2 people; the bed was very comfortable (so important) and there were lots of power sockets everywhere. We knew the fridge was quite small (exactly as described in the property description) so we brought our portable electric cool box to take the excess Christmas goodies! All in all a great stay - many thanks.
