Rachid's place exceeded all my expectations. He has a beautifully restored house, which he has made into a home. Guests to his place should take the time to go up to the rooftop, where Rachid has plants and a very nice and comfortable to chill, with views overlooking the Medina. My only regret is that I did not have time to spend more days in Fes and to follow up on Rachid's numerous recommendations. A stay at Rachid's is one of the highlights of my time during this holiday. I only wish that more guests would be able to learn about the history of Rachid's home, where Rachid has tried to painstakingly restore this wonderful place to as closeto the original as possible. I will definitely recommend anyone and everyone to stay at Dar Amrani 20, which actually means, Amrani's House, Amrani being Rachid's Family name.

I couldn't have stayed in a more beautiful place but above all a more wonderful and generous host as Rachid. Dar Amrani 20 is a traditional Riad that has been carefully restored with taste to preserve its authentic character whilst at the same time offering a very comfortable and relaxing place to stay, spotlessly clean, an oasis of peace and tranquility but just a few steps away from restaurants and the most important sites of Fez within the medina. There is a wonderful terrace on the top floor with comfortable sofas for relaxing and great views of the city. Arriving to Fez by car there is a car park very near to the house. Rachid is a wonderful person and went out of his way to make sure that my stay was as pleasant as possible such as preparing typical breakfasts or accompanying me to and from my car or to the restaurants and shops. Rachid is a great guide and very insightful on anything that you might want to learn about the city of Fez or Morocco, its history, culture & food.

Beautiful traditional dar in the Fes medina. The owner was kind prepared a nice breakfast for us. The place is hard to find.
