RELAX - UNWIND - ENJOY Zelma's Cottage is a charming self-contained bungalow accommodating up to 8 guests, located in a quiet area just minutes walk from Leura village. Set in an acre of beautiful gardens designed by world famous landscape gardener 'Sorensen", with many native birds and wildlife visiting the property daily. The cottage was lovingly renovated in 2017 with polished wood floors, brand new fully equipped kitchen and bathroom and beautiful furnishings throughout. A spacious living room, furnished with plush classic couches, cushions, coffee table flows into a dining room with a long country style dining table and sideboard. The brand new kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed to cook sumptuous lunches and dinners, as well luxury extras such as a Nespresso for coffee lovers. There is a large HD TV in living area with FREE Wi-Fi and Netflix, as well as an extra TV/DVD in master bedroom. Each of the main two bedrooms are beautiful decorated and feature queen beds, with a third spacious bedroom containing four bunk beds. Gas heating throughout, with ceiling heating in the bathroom, ensures the cottage is always warm and inviting in winter, with ceiling fans for the warmer months. There is spacious front deck for outdoor living with views over the stunning garden, as well as off street parking with carport for two or three cars. LOCATION Leura is a historic village with quaint little tea houses, craft and antique shops, bakery's nestled amongst turn-of-the-century buildings. Leura retains its own distinct identity with a real village atmosphere. It has been given the name 'The Jewel in the Mountains Crown' and is also known as 'The Garden Village'. Zelma's cottage is just 5 minutes walk from Leura Village and you can visit many fine restaurants in Leura as well as Katoomba being only a 5 minute drive away. Leura is an easy 90 minutes drive from Sydney or 45 minutes from the Western suburbs, and can easily be reach by the train services that stops at Leura village. Take a trolley bus ride or a double decker bus which stop at all the main tourist attractions. Treat yourself to massage and spa treatments with several beauty treatment salons available in Leura and Katoomba. An indoor Aquatic Centre and Gym in Katoomba is a great way to entertain the kids and get fit. Bushwalking, golf courses, clubs are nearby as are the other major attractions for which the Blue Mountains World Heritage listed area is famous for.
