Fiona's mud-brick cottage was delightful and cosy. A beautiful bush setting that was both private and peaceful. A simple and cosy retreat, with a wood fire heater in the sitting room ( which was gratefully set for me on my arrival!). The cottage was very clean, with everything I needed for a comfortable retreat from the busyness of life. Fiona supplied some nourishing, healthy breakfast options for me and was more than happy to provide me with a teapot on request! The bed was very comfortable and warm, there was alternative heating as well as the firebox which helped to take the chill off the fresh mornings. A well-equipped kitchen and fabulous hot water in the shower. I enjoyed having my coffee on the private verandah each morning, listening to the birdsong. The cottage was an easy drive into Inverloch town and to all amenities.

W had a fantastic stay at Fiona´s place and I can't recommend it enough! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality that made me feel right at home. The hosts went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and memorable. The accommodations were cozy and inviting, with all the amenities we needed for a pleasant stay. The highlight for us was the delicious first breakfast that Fiona´s provided to us and the fireplace. It was a delightful way to start the day, and I looked forward to it each morning. Additionally, the location was perfect for exploring the area. Whether I was venturing out to nearby attractions or simply enjoying the tranquil surroundings, I found it to be an ideal home base for my travels. We can't thank the hosts enough for their gracious hospitality and attention to detail. If you're looking for a charming retreat with fantastic wonderful hosts, look no further than Fiona´s place.

There are very few places where you walk in and feel that you are well & truly at home. What a magic place Fiona has, we truly appreciated the mud brick cottage and all the character that it is. Fiona was very welcoming indeed, right down to the beautiful sourdough bread, eggs, milk, cereal, tea, coffee etc. A bountiful supply of wood for the fire should you need it, a ready supply of reading material if you forgot your own, binoculars to use, the wildlife surrounding Fiona's property is magical indeed, the abundant birdlife is amazing and you can hear in the morning. Very definite evidence of the wombats too, we'll be back again Fiona, can't thank you enough for our lovely time spent at your place.

Such a wonderful rural property! Fiona is wonderful and took great care of us. We felt welcomed and relaxed and most important, comfortable. The snug with the wood stove at night after long days out hiking and exploring was such a terrific experience. She's thought of everything to make you comfortable in the kitchen as well. There's even wombat holes outside and laughing kukubarras in the morning and sometimes at night. Fantastic!!!

Our stay at Fiona's place was above and beyond expectations. She was a friendly and attentive host and made us feel very welcome. The property was tidy, cosy and inviting. Breakfast was fantastic and a lovely added touch. The location was quiet and private yet only a short drive from things to do. Overall we would highly recommended Fiona's property and would love to stay again in future! :)
