This Cottage was perfect for our family getaway! Everything was easily accessible and they had many games/activities/and extras there to keep us busy and entertained! Lake access was close and convenient! Having use of the kayaks was also a treat!

Our second time at this great location! The house and property are in the perfect spot, peaceful with a great waterfront setting. So nice to relax in the hammock and take in the view, or walk to the beach nearby. Everything we needed, and more, was provided. It is so great to have access to the kayaks, too! This rental was a fantastic location for a lakefront getaway. Great facilities and property and terrific views. The provided outdoor horseshoe pits and cornhole were a welcome addition to go with the collection of board games that we brought along for any late nights not spent at the firepit. Having the kayaks and paddleboat provided was a bonus. The central air, WiFi, and provided water cooler were much-appreciated features not common in a lakefront rental! The property is in a neighborhood that has the feel of a residential community, so it's not the best fit for any groups planning to get rowdy, but that wasn't part of our plans anyway so no problem there. And it's a great neighborhood to just take a walk around if you're not ambitious enough to drive to any of the nearby hiking trails. Only other caveat is that this section of the lake has a bit of a (very mild) current. It's not at all dangerous for swimming, but it's just enough to make you slowly drift away instead of staying put if you're out on a flotation device. Our group sometimes likes to take a lazy float in the lake, so it took a bit more effort and actual swimming than we're used to in order to stay put ... but at least that gave us some exercise! All-in-all, this is a great property/location with wonderful views and amenities and highly recommended as long as you're not looking to get rowdy and floaters don't mind a little bit of actual effort in the water to stay in front of the dock (swimmers will have no problems at all).

Toni’s lake house was a wonderful stay at Rushford! The home was comfortable, along with an awesome backyard and fire pit. It was great to have access to the kayaks and paddle boat as well. We would definitely come back again and enjoy everything the place has to offer!

My family and I had a wonderful time on the lake! The cottage was cozy and clean. The beds were comfortable. It was well stocked with pots and pans, utensils, grilling tools, etc. There were a variety of outdoor games and activities as well as indoor games and great WiFi! All that and a lovely serene view!
