The place was great, very clean, peaceful and quiet, good views and we loved the skylight and hot tub! Be prepared to get very close with whoever you're there with, the bathroom isn't the most private. I just had my partner sit outside on the porch!. Also, there is no tv but the little dvd player was cute. Overall, no complaints we had a very nice time. The only thing I will say is that there were no curtains and the main house is quite close. Could have appreciated a little more privacy. Be sure to try Jake's for breakfast!

if you are looking for simplicity, tranquility and an overall unplugged stay look no further. My wife and I were looking for exactly that and couldn't have been happier with our stay. Ben was very responsive, respectful and accommodating if the situation called for it. all the basic amenities were present plus a hot tub and sauna!. It's hard to put in words the joy of being able to take in the beautiful scapes of nature and experience total peace and quiet in the busy world we leave in but if any of this sounds like something you are looking for don't hesitate. Ben is a great host. The booking was easy and communication was great. We had a few questions prior to arriving and once we arrived and Ben was quick in responding to us. I would highly recommend this home or any one of his listings. They all have a unique charm to them and we are looking forward to experiencing the others in the near future.

Definitely a cute airbnb!! However there are a few things I’d like to mention - this airbnb doesn't have any curtains/blinds which left us feeling exposed especially at night when the lights are on because there is another airbnb very close to this one. The pictures in the listing are specifically taken at an angle as to not illustrate how close this other listing (an entire house) is to this cabin. During our stay there were 4 other people (other guests?) walking around and using the sauna (which is noted as a shared space) next to our airbnb, one of the other guests even walked up the spiral staircase to our airbnb and peeked in the windows. She awkwardly gestured an apology when she saw us but either way it definitely didn't feel as private as I thought based on the pictures. Also the extensive rules feel overbearing and the tone almost feels passive aggressive. Of course rules are important and they were easy to follow but I think they could be written in a much friendlier tone.
