I had a great time in Sam's BnB in Valtos! You have stunning views from their place and it is peaceful and well equipped with food essentials.. perfect for a getaway! Their neighbour Ella greeted me which was great considering how isolated an area it is! She was very friendly, helpful and checked in on me to make sure I was ok! An excellent stay and would highly recommend their place if staying on Skye :)

I can’t recommend this rental enough! Charming and cozy, beautiful location, and lovely host. I was showered with hospitality, recommendations, instructions as needed and so much warmth and care. This exceeded my expectations and made feel, as a solo traveler, that I had a friend in Scotland. If you’re a hiker, also know this adorable house is almost exactly halfway between Old Man of Storr and the Quiraing (10 mins and 15 mins, respectively), which is why I was drawn to it. You’re a little more remote than you would be in downtown Portee, but that’s what I wanted. Staffin is 10 mins away and has great cafes and Portee is an easy drive if you have a car. The space was also set with tons of snacks and tea, which was an added cherry on top of a wonderful sundae. Definitely book this little haven!

I'm so glad I got to stay in this little cottage! It was the perfect location - close to the main sights on the Trotternish but nicely tucked away from the crowds. The cottage provided everything I needed as a solo traveler and I was also super grateful for the unexpected food provisions from the hosts - very generous! This stay was a great value and I would certainly recommend it to others. Thank you!

We had a wonderful time at Skye. This cottage is lovely and has the perfect location near all the most beautiful spots at Skye. Highly recommend.
