This is a newly refurbished authentic charming greek village house, "new for 2017" . Our house is situated in the quiet village of Malona surround by orange and olive groves. Relaxed and slow in a great location living among the locals in this unspoilt village with its narrow winding streets. Only a 5 minutes drive to the golden sandy beach of Agathi or 7 minutes drive to the picturesque beach of Haraki with lots of cafes and restaurants to choose from. This house is newly refurbished for 2017. It is all open plan with a very homely feel. It's only a 5 minute drive to one of the local beaches or a 20 minute drive to Lindos or Rhodes town. I would highly recommend hiring a car or use the local bus service (1 every hour). The house has 2 air conditioning units , 1 in the living area and the other in the upper bedroom. It is equipped with everything I could think of to make it a home from home, all electrical items etc and 2 x 32 inch TVs , 1 which is situated in the upper sunroom along with an Apple TV device. The house has 3 bedrooms with 2 double beds and 2 singles. Bedroom 1 is downstairs with 2 single beds, brand new matresses for 2022. Bedroom 2 is a traditional Greek mezzanine style room overlooking the long open plan living/dining area with beautiful high beamed ceilings. Bedroom 3 is our new addition for 2022, access up the beautiful spiral staircase to the double bedroom. All bedrooms have draw curtains for privacy. Just off bedroom 2 are the stairs up to the sunroom , this is the place to be drinking your morning coffee and eating fresh bread from the bakery located directly behind the house. We have a pull out sofa bed in the living area and another in the upper sunroom. Please note we do not have safety gates for young children and the steps at the top are very open and quite steep. The sun room has sliding glass doors which open full, leading onto the long sun terrace with the most amazing views . We have glass window built into the roof (the skylight) which you can step on as it is made from bullet proof glass !!! There is a BBQ and a cooling pool on the terrace . You can also watch the beautiful sunset from around 7.30pm (depending on the time of year) with a nice glass of red. Linen and bathroom towels are provided but guests must provide their own beach towels. There are 3 supermarkets a post office , restaurant and 2 bars within walking distance in the village and most people speak English so don't worry.
