Bright, modern, well stocked studio apartment with private entrance on the second storey of a thoughtfully restored Victorian home. Centrally located and 3 blocks from Hamilton General. Includes a full kitchen, a newly reno'd bathroom, WI-FI internet access, 30" HD television with Netflix, digital cable and Chromecast so you can stream your favourite media (Youtube, Amazon etc). A queen size bed, down duvet/pillows and all cotton bedding for your comfort. This is a quiet and private city oasis. The studio is great for short or long stays. We have provided you with kitchen essentials like a bodum and counter top coffee maker, toaster, blender, cast iron cookware. The pantry includes good coffee, teas, milk, condiments, spices and a variety of canned drinks. There's your own private patio outside the suite with 2 chairs and a table (not in winter).

Adorable place. I enjoyed my first time in Hamilton very much and it was mostly because of the stay I had here. Very clean and wonderful hosts. If I ever find myself in Hamilton I will be staying again.

Felt right home during my short stay at Stephen & Sonya's – clear and responsive communication, just a cozy well-appointed place to relax. Truly appreciated the little amenities like tea, coffee, sundry kitchen things – would love to stay again!

Really good experience, host was really active in responding to my questions. I felt a bit unsafe and nervous living in the place on my first day as there was no door or lock for the bedroom. There was only one lock for the front door on the patio and you can see the kitchen and bathroom very clearly from the outside without any curtains to cover up for privacy. But this is just a personal preference and there's nothing wrong with the neighborhood or place I stayed at. I checked in late at night close to Halloween season so the whole place just looked a bit spooky haha. During the day it was beautiful and I felt much safer afterwards.

This is a very central location, almost everything is walkable, a 5 min drive or quick bike away. Close to James Street North and Barton Village's eclectic shops, new hip restaurants and bars. This is an 'area in transition', with many century homes of architectural note. Flavours of the Portuguese community remain in local bakeries and restaurants.
