Christine was a lovely host and the accommodations were quaint. The bed, and pillows were incredible, and the private bathroom had a great soaker. Everything was clean and charming. I gave it one star less than perfect because the trains were very loud, even with a sound machine and headphones. We knew to expect that, I just didn’t realize it would be that loud or that frequent. If you’re not a light sleeper it may not be an issue. Otherwise it was lovely. Thank you for hosting us.

Absolutely wonderful! I stayed an extra day!

We stayed for 2 nights and absolutely loved it. The place was immaculate! The bed was extremely comfortable and the view of the river is very nice. Trains rattle by a couple times a night and blow their whistle,which rather than bothering us,actually added to the experience. I would stay again in a heartbeat,and definitely recommend.

Great place to stay on way to the coast

A unique property providing a comfortable spacious space. The bedroom and bathroom were fabulous and the self serve kitchen with excellent coffee worked very well for us. We enjoyed taking our kayaks to the nearby Lake Tyhee for a perfect late afternoon paddle. Dining in nearby Smithers was convenient too.
