Charming, clean, comfortable, convenient and safe. It’s not like everything else out there. The enclosed porch was a daily favorite to enjoy coffee and breakfast and to people watch. The place was clean and we felt right at home right away. It had just about all the conveniences and amenities of home. The beds and accommodations were comfortable and we had no problems sleeping at night. We parked our vehicles at the house and utilized TTC as much as possible. Parking spaces are a premium especially in places like Toronto. The two parking spots will accommodate 2-Ford F150 supercrew trucks. There is street parking available, but it’s limited to an hour and overnight requires a paid City parking permit. Transit pick points are easy walking distance as are the beach, restaurants and parks. We felt safe and had no issues with our belongings or walking around day or night. The host was responsive and accommodating and we were able to check in early. We would definitely stay again.

Yen is a wonderful host and the place is very well connected to the city. Street cars available at walking distance.

We had a great stay at Yen’s, we were there while doing renovations for 2 months. Yen was a great host and was always super responsive with any questions/issues. There was a great play room for our toddler, with a crib and high chair. Would definitely recommend!

4 week stay @ Yen’s. We had 3 kids with us and the playroom was an excellent addition! Great size for a family of 5. Great location. Adjoining rooms would be tricky for non-family groups, but no issues for us. The cot was also a great asset. This place had almost everything - only lacking a front or back patio/garden where we could sit out with direct access to the house (there is a side-garden but we couldn’t leave kids out there alone/spend time out there when they were in bed as there is no visibility to the house from the garden). This may only be an issues for families with very young kids. All in all a lovely place and an excellent host.

Our family of five needed a welcoming home to stay during the end of our house renovations - this place was great - clean, family friendly, packed with things for kids - a park just at the end of the street - lots of things within walking distance.
