Best holiday EVER! Kerry had incredible communication from the start. Everything was above and beyond our expectations. The crew was top notch! They took us to the best snorkeling spots and everyday just got better. The boat is clean, spacious and comfortable. The chef was thoughtful and creative and the food was amazing. Thank you for treating us so well. We hope to see you again someday soon.

We owe a world of gratitude to our amazing hosts and new friends, Kemble and Lindi. Our holiday will forever be heightened and all the more memorable not because of the Maldives, but because of our experience on Shantaram. Kemble and Lindi are conscientious hosts who not only ensured our comfort and safety but also that every moment was an added memory of a lifetime. We laughed like we've never laughed. We smiled like we never smiled. And we experienced things in awe of the wonders that nature holds, which were all documented by Kemble through his amazing talent of videography. Kemble put together an amazing video and keepsake of our adventure! Lindi was the most amazing chef. And that's coming from a couple of "foodies". Every meal was home cooked. Tasty fresh ingredients. Personal favorites were ciabatta cilantro burgers and endless gourmet pizza. I've yet to get some of her recipes. Snacks were plentiful, we were not hungry for 6 days. Every day held a new adventure. Snorkeling, fishing, (we caught our own dinner) scuba diving, breakfast with hundreds of dolphins, evenings with stingrays, Nurse sharks, turtles, swans and more. We also appreciated all the wonderful conversations that taught us so much about the Maldives. Many things we were naïve to. We enjoyed these conversations and still marvel at how easily we got along with our hosts. Like we'd known them for years. We also appreciate how family friendly this holiday was. Kemble and Lindi both helped our daughter (9) to explore at her own pace and learned to read her very well. She was so enchanted by her experience that she cried and cried when we left, as she will miss Kemble and Lindi both very much. An incredible gift of friendship and world experience to a child. I am almost reluctant to post this review as we would like to keep this hidden gem to ourselves. Hoping that our paths cross with Kemble, Lindi and the Shantaram again soon. I would not hesitate to recommend this as an alternative to staying at a resort in the Maldives. The boat was more spacious that we had anticipated with lots of comfortable outside areas to lounge, sunbath, read and listen to music. Beds were large and luxurious and although cabins did not have much storage but as you live in your swimwear this really isnt an issue Very liberating to just take a dozen items of clothes ! Having a private charter meant we could go wherever we wanted to go to snorkel, swim and explore and we definitely felt we saw the best of the Maldives in the time we had . This was a family treat and a once in a lifetime holiday and it certainly met and exceeded our expectations. The crew were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. Food on board was excellent for those that love healthy home cooked tasty food. Absolute bliss, total switch off time and would book again.
