Villa Mimosa is a large 170m2 family villa on a 2000m2 plot of land situated in the beautiful Rotja Valley in the French Pyrenees with stunning views of Mount Canigou. With 4 bedrooms and a heated outdoor pool it is a fantastic location at any time of year in one of the sunniest regions of France. There is also a large family bathroom with bath & shower, and two twin bedrooms (we are willing to consider an extra single bed or cot for an additional fee). All the bedrooms have direct access to a large balcony with fantastic views of Mount Canigou. On the ground floor, there is large well-equipped kitchen with microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and large 5 burner gas hob and electric oven and small breakfast table. The dining / living area boasts several comfortable leather sofas, a large 8-10 person dining table, 49' full-screen UHD TV and wood-burning stove. There is a separate toilet and access to the garage and utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. The lounge and kitchen lead out onto the wrap-around shady terrace and garden & pool area. The 8m x 4m swimming pool has a covered patio area with a built-in BBQ The villa lends itself to two 4-person families sharing or 1 large extended family, but would also suit groups. Our maximum number of guests is 8, but under limited circumstances, we are prepared to accommodate up to 10 guests

Très belle villa un séjour agréable en famille dans une très belle région. Nos avons apprécié notre séjour. Dommage que la distribution d’eau froide et de glaçon du frigo américain ne soit pas fonctionnel tout comme la lumière de la piscine pour le soir. Malgré tout le logement était impeccable et dans un environnement très calme.
La villa mimosa offre un panorama exceptionnel au coeur des pyrénées. La maison est spacieuse située au calme (début Juillet) Nous avons particulièrement apprécié les suites parentales, avec 3 salles de bains au total. La cuisine est très grande ainsi que le salon pour les soirees en famille. Nous sommes une famille de 6 personnes. Nous recommandons vivement cette location, nous y reviendrons avec plaisir pour continuer à découvrir la region.

The villa is located on a large, private plot of land in a small and very peaceful village. It is a 5 minute walk from our local restaurant/bar. It is also a 5 minute drive from the historic medieval town of Villefranche-de-Conflent with its many shops and restaurants.
We highly recommend having a car to get to and from the villa, although there is a very limited bus service which runs sporadically during the summer months
