I enjoyed a divine week away in this beautiful cottage. The space had everything I desired and was only a short drive away from São Luis, the closest town, and a 20 minute drive to the coast. Tanja came to welcome me shortly after arrival and was so helpful with recommendations and local nature spots. The surrounding area was so quiet and yet so full of life. I sincerely hope to stay again on my next trip out of Lisboa.

This place is special. Booked three days and stayed 6 - I kept extending my trip because I couldn’t leave! The land surrounding this house, paths to rivers and little villages is stunning. The quiet is so deep with nothing but the birds and donkeys to keep you company. It’s worth noting that there is a yurt - another rental unit - in close proximity to the clay house, which I didn’t realize when booking, so you’re not in total isolation, but it wasn’t a problem. The hosts were generous and very responsive and helpful for my many questions. I was there in April when everything was in bloom - fields of wildflowers everywhere. I will definitely be back to this little piece of paradise. Thanks for sharing this special piece of the planet with others 💕

Mooi huisje ! Heerlijk rustig in landelijke omgeving. Het was er knus en comfortabel . Gastvrije host en lieve diertjes in de omgeving ❤️

Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen & entspannten Aufenthalt im charmant-gemütlichen Häuschen auf dem Land. Tanja hat einen frühen check-in ermöglicht und uns sehr nett mit vielen Informationen zur Gegend und selbstgemachter Marmelade empfangen. Die nächsten Nachbarn Esel, Schafe und Katzen sind freundlich und zutraulich. Gegen die nicht so willkommenen Tiere gibt es ein Moskitonetz über dem Bett, sowie Insektengitter an den Fenstern und bei möglichem nächtlichen Hundegebell hilft es, das Fenster zu schließen oder Ohrenstöpsel im Gepäck zu haben. Vielen Dank für einen schönen Aufenthalt, Tanja, Michael & Familie!
