I wish I had reserved for another day to fully enjoy the location. Overall it was very peaceful and nice. Thie was one of the 1st Air BnB's where I was able to sleep deeply on the 1st night. Cell service was great and beds were comfy

Everything was just as described and the house was larger than we were expecting. The outside area of the house provided ample space to play kickball with our one-year old great nephew who came to visit while we were there. There was plenty of parking and easy access to the house. The kitchen was well equipped and there is nothing like cooking on a quality gas range. The outside grill was exceptional. Because we travel quite a bit we always notice shower pressure and good quality bedding - Emmett's place had both. Each bedroom had its own bathroom with high quality linens. We saw deer families every evening and every morning. It was a quiet and peaceful weekend. We will definitely return, hopefully in the fall/winter where we will build a fire in the massive fireplace! Black Bear Lodge was a terrific getaway for our family. The beauty of the area was even better than expected...bedroom decks provide a perfect view of the mountain sunset! The caretaker, Steve, came by to check on us after we arrived, and he was friendly and helpful. The lodge was clean and comfortable, and the kitchen has everything you might need. Serene and relaxing. Would definitely recommend.
