Booked entire apartment as per description. This happened be three bedroom. Hosts good facilitating early check in. However, despite having booked an apartment to myself they tried to get me to have one bedroom with shared bathroom instead living space, balcony and kitchen That i had booked. When I refused this they took me to apartment which matched original description. I was then told others would be in apartment and I stated that I had booked entire apartment not an ensuite bedroom with shared kitchen or living space or I would have went elsewhere. I advised the host if they wanted to rent other bedrooms they could give me my Money back and I could go elsewhere and also stated that advert should not say entire apartment. I was assured that I could have apartment to myself. However, in the last week of my stay I received an email saying someone else would stay in other bedroom for one night. I returned and someone had already been shown the room without them waiting for my reply. I said I was unhappy as i had rented apartment for myself as per advert , host then respected my wishes. However, should not need to keep telling them all the time. On arrival the Previous Guests had left that day and I was advised because I checked in early to allow time for cleaning-fair enough. However, floor was only swept and clean sheets put on bed. I had to clean toilet and bathroom and dishes myself. I was told cleaner would come but two days later no cleaner had came then host assistant cleaned main living area. The balcony door and door to the apartment did not lock requested this to be fixed but had not been fixed on day departure one month later. However, apartment is behind gate and appears to Be safe but not good people being able to walk in apartment freely. Bedroom door locks so valuables are safe. Beautiful apartment , ashame with all other issues that arose with it.

Dear fellow Airbnb members: If you are looking for a place to stay there are plenty of hotel options that can accommodate you and are centrally located in Katmandu valley. However, if you are looking for a home during your trip to Nepal then I highly recommend staying with Nima. Our initial impression was that we would be staying at another Airbnb, simply a place to eat, sleep, and shower. But this is so much more than that. Our first day there we were given expert advice on our itinerary, adjustments were made, and we had our own Nepali native to take us to some of the famous attractions. It was an experience that was simply friends hanging out than touring an attraction through an agency. Instead of taking a taxi, Nima had a driver that we could hire and use during our stay in Nepal, which is extremely convenient when getting around and navigating the busy roads. On our last dinner, we enjoyed a cookout with Sonau and family watching Barcelona and Real Madrid play football. It was quite the experience that put the icing on the cake. All and all, when my sister and I return to Nepal, I will plan to stay with Nima and do a trek through his agency Responsible Treks. A very satisfied customer, Surio Family
