We loved our stay at Dennes Point. Easy access to the beach for a daily swim, drinks and dinner on the deck watching the birds and the boats. House is great - we hope we will visit again soon.

We love staying here so much! This was our second stay and I think it will always stay in my mind as the perfect getaway place. The house itself is tasteful, spacious, comfortable, well equipped, clean and uncluttered, with a lovely deck, beautiful views over the garden through the trees to the sea and a little private path down to the shore. The photos don't do it justice. The wildlife was wonderful - we saw wallabies, quolls, echidnas, kookaburras, green rosellas and more from the windows, deck and path. And the beach was gorgeous to walk along in both directions, at any time of day, in any weather! Bruny Island Wild was also a bonus within walking distance - we had amazing pizzas there one evening.

This was our 9th year staying at Breakaway for the Bruny Island Ultra. Rob and Anita are wonderful hosts. Always helpful. Breakaway is a lovely place to stay, all the comforts of home and so relaxing. We love the views and being able to spot native birds and animals.

We had an incredible stay at Breakaway. It was homely and we enjoyed the beautiful surroundings and local wildlife. Better yet, the "shack" actually had everything you need; good bluetooth speakers, movies, boardgames, kitchen was equipped and stocked with all the basics I like to have including oil, salt, pepper, flour, sugar, glad wrap, paper towel, big plates, tupperware, wine stoppers, bottle opener, plunger and instant coffee. There was even plenty of dry wood and kindling for the fire, a great BBQ and grill plates for the outdoor fire! Honestly, just everything you need was there. My only suggestion would be a pair of binoculars for bird watching. I would note that there is no dryer but plenty of room on the clothesline and pegs (just remember they are on tank water) and the knives are not very sharp but these are the kind of things you expect at a holiday home anyway. The house was warm, clean and very easy to live in. Thank you.
