We had a lovely time and the house was exactly as we expected! Clean, spacious enough. Comfy beds with crisp linen. We had to park the next street over which so packing and unpacking was a bit of a nuisance and we just left the car parked the whole time and walked everywhere. It’s a beautiful location with the Botanic Gardens and cafes within walking distance. Lovely to have the balcony too! Would’ve loved just those basics such as tea and coffee to have a cuppa as shops aren’t particularly close by but that’s certainly no deal breaker. Thanks Alex and team!
Everything was great, the only thing that kinda annoyed me was there wasn't anywhere to hang laundry and I couldn't hang my stuff on the balcony. I just draped my stuff on a chair in my room which didn't bother me much but might have been to annoying for some other people. If I was really bothered I'm sure i could've send him a message but I didn't care that much. Had a great week thanks for having me.
- I will start with the great things! The location is great, super close to trams to be able to get into the city - Host answered questions very fast - Close to the river and nice cafe near by Now for the things that didn’t quite meet expectations: - Cleanliness, it seemed like it hadn’t been throughly cleaned in quite a while. The bedside tables were caked in dust and cutlery had noticeable marks and was greasy - Only two small toilet rolls provided for 4 nights - Coffee pod machine provided with no pods so seemed kind of pointless to have it there. No coffee sachets etc. - Shower is temperamental, would go to extremely hot to cold very quickly This place has a lot of potential to be 5 stars, just requires more attention to cleanliness and basic amenities that you expect at an Airbnb. I want to note, the hosts were great and very quick to answer questions etc. I honestly wish I could give 5 stars with their service alone, although I need to be honest.
