Very fitting location for an artist to think and create in peace. Would recommend for anyone wanting to get some head space for a few days. Facilities were very good

Amazing hidden gem in the countryside! Absolutely love how quiet and peaceful this place is. Seeing the night sky with billions of stars was a great addition to a cozy evening. John is also a great host, very responsive.

the yard is a very open space. it is a nice country setting . there is a few places around to visit which is nice. its very quiet. it is end of March. its cold enough but inside was colder. there was a very damp smell and bits of mold around the walls. and when we turned on the heater . John was very quick to highlight the extra charges for excess electricity . ten degrees inside. photos taken . easily fixed. with prior communication of maybe an hour of a heater before arrival but we did not do. we stayed for one night and would not stay another. dehumidifier wouldn't work. heaters on the wall wouldn't either. free standing space heater and 5 blankets is what we had . a crisp fell on the ground and when we tidied up the following morning the crisp was wet . highlighting the dampness . john is nice . just some things need to be worked on at the premises.

The location is amazing, place is peaceful and John is super nice. The house feels a bit cold and damp, it could use some maintenance.

John was very nice, but unfortunately a lot of things didn't work well. Above all, it was freezing cold. There was no heating before my Arrival, with outside Temperatures up to a maximum of 5°C. Most of the electric Heaters were broken. Only thanks to a kind Gesture from John was the one working electric Heater free of charge for me. (usually the Electricity required is paid extra). I even slept in the living area because it was the only slightly heated Room. There was also a Shower with just lukewarm water. I recommend visiting this Air B&B only in Summer. Then it is definitely a very idyllic, beautifully located place with an incredible view of the stars at night. Despite everything, thank you
