spectacular place with awesome view . I stayed with my friends over there and had a good swim in pool .. breakfast was yum.... just your Home away from home ... specially recommended for your leisure stay....host hanuwant just made us feel like home and gave us company and cooked fresh non-veg for us...and took us for jungle walk around....and went for a city tour with him.... really appreciated.... great stay perfect stay🦩❤️🦩

Found a home in Udaipur. Albiet the listing is in Airbnb, Hanuwant's home is a home stay, ie the hosts stay in the same house as the guests, well I guess that is what makes it a home :-) For new travellers, Hanuwant's home is two floors, exactly as per the pics, although a lot more beautiful in real world view, Hanuwant's family stay in the ground floor and the guests have the entire first floor to our selves. The rooms are palacious and very tastefully decorated, lots of sunlight coming into the rooms to make it feel even for spacious and open and wonderful, squeaky clean bathrooms. During our stay we never had issues of water, wifi or any such issues. The home is situated a bit onto the outskirts of Udaipur but not too far from the centre of the city. The location is ideal, just away to avoid the hassle-bussle of the city and yet not too far that it feels isolated. There are few houses in vicinity but adequately far away so we could enjoy the scenery. I was told the hosts help conduct Jungle safaris but we could not use the facility as we were short on time. Hanuwant's home is also good on security as there are always people/host at home and two dogs (which are left free outside at night for their guarding duties ;-). They do tie them up incase the guests are not comfortable. All rooms have door locks and guests can carry keys while outside as per personal preference. The food: we were served home food which Hanuwant's mother lovingly prepares and we were impressed beyond words. The food (veg and non-veg) were heavenly, of local delicacy and as best as home food could be. We never felt like ordering from outside as it was finger-licking tasty (local delicacies tend to be a bit spicy, so I suggest informing the host beforehand depending on your spice-tolerence). The Host: Hanuwant stays with his parents, who one can say are the main host :-) , were a joy to be with at all times, stories to share and optimism to distribute. They maintain the home with the discipline any Indian home must have at the same time making sure not to be interfering or intruding. They permit drinks and smoking (in moderation with guests maintaining sensibility) in the open areas, balcony, roof top and by the pool (there is a lot of space). They also cater for bonfires to make the evenings extra special. The Verdict: As travellers, different people have different requirements. Someone wanting enjoy Udaipur looking for a home away from home, Hanuwant's place is exactly where you need to come. I say from personal experience, We (my family and I) have certainly found a home in Udaipur

There have been various problems during our stay: - room was not the one we booked ( bigger but poor quality installations), owners didn't care about it and acted as if nothing had happened - shower pressure was basically not existing - communication was impossible cause owners could speak no english, english speaking cousins randomly showed up and disappeared again - breakfast apparently does not include other things than tea and a couple of toast. Fruits, coffee and juices were served as part of the breakfast and then charged without prior warning -water prior claimed as complimentary was also charged in the end - the public balcony was all around the room and we had no privacy - invasive knocking at the door for breakfast at a random time owners assesed as appropriate for breakfast at the last day - room dirty, i found old hair everywhere. White curtains with yellow stains as well as white bed linen, dirty carpets everywhere - pool without pump, looked very dirty for western standards - two young school boys (sons of the cleaning lady) worked as servants and made us feel uncomfortable, besides the fact that of course the work was done unprofesionally - wifi was broken, no real alternative was provided On the pro: the owners seem to be nice people. The parents although not able to communicate with us were trying their best. After a lot of back and forth, early check in was possible. The buisness is apparently run by the eldest son in a very unprofessional way not suitable for the price of the room. Him currently recovering from an accident cannot be used as an excuse for everything in our eyes.

The house is as beautiful as the pictures. The hosts are the sweetest family ever. You get great home cooked meals. The location is perfect, not right in the city yet not too far. Would definitely recommend everyone to visit them whenever in Udaipur.

We stayed for one night at Hanumants place and the experience was wonderful. The place feels like home and the beautiful view adds to the entire experience. Hanumants mother was warm and made us a tasty breakfast. His father was caring and approachable. Overall we would say that if you visit Udaipur, staying at his place is a must. Thanks for your hospitality Hanumant and family. Their dogs Jack and Moussier are beautiful.
