What an amazing property! My family had the most incredible holiday at this house. From the moment you arrive it is so peaceful. The river side house is everything and more. My kids didn’t want to leave. We definitely want to come back. Also Suzanne is great. Very accommodating and helpful.

We stayed in Play Shack 4, a self contained, fully furnished log cabin, and loved it! We barely ventured off the property during our time away, as it was just so relaxing. We lucked out with the warm sunny weather so spent a lot of time outside on the deck taking in the views, or having a paddle in the Delatite River, which is accessible directly from the property. Our kids loved spotting the local wildlife, we had several visits from deer, kangaroos and kookaburras. All grazing on the grass in the surrounding property. Be careful leaving your shoes outside on the deck over night though, as a cheeky fox came in the cover of darkness and took a sandal and chewed it!! It set the sensor light off and we spotted it scurrying away. The cabin itself is very comfortable and well furnished. Large floor to ceiling windows let the sunshine through most of the day, with spectacular views of the deciduous trees on the property and nearby mountains. We came in autumn and the colours of the tree foliage was magic! The beds were very comfortable with high quality linen and heavy set quality doonas. We didn’t need to use the heating, but with a heater in each room, plus a fire place we could see that it would be very warm and cosy in winter. We found the kitchen to be user friendly despite not being a full kitchen. There was plenty of kitchen utensils, crockery, glassware and cooking appliances. Due to the amazing weather we utilised the BBQ outside. The coffee pod machine was a nice added bonus too. The host Suzanne was very easy to communicate with and very quick to reply. She also accommodated a request from us to check in a little earlier, which we really appreciated.
