High speed wifi, private bathrooms, cable television, small fridge, coffee pot and microwave are provided. For those wishing to be more isolated/solitary, the Bunkhouse is an ideal option. No Smoking/Vaping policy. We are dog and kid friendly. We are situated on 50 acres in the Jamestown Wildlife Area abutting Gamekeeper's Marsh and Waterfowl Refuge. The bunkhouse is an efficiency unit on the property. If a single person books the bunkhouse, they have the entire unit to themselves. It is listed as shared due to the fact that up to three people can share the facility. Outside, you will share the property with the owners, the owners' animals (mule, chickens and dogs) as well as various wildlife that likes to wander through and the neighbors cows wandering the field behind the Bunkhouse. The view of the cattle on the rolling hills as the sun rises and the mists lie close to the ground is pretty surreal and ethereal. It is definitely a place you come to get away from it all. To view the sunsets, you are welcome to walk to the top of the hill and take in the view, or even wander into the Jamestown State Park. Public access is at the entrance to our drive.
