This was such a nice place to stay in Carpinteria. The apartment itself is beautiful and very well-appointed, and the location was an easy driving (not walking) distance to town. We appreciated the little touches like the fresh avocados and lemons that were left for us! One issue is that none of the windows/doors have screens, so we couldn't keep them open because so many bugs and flies came in. It was a bummer given how hot it was that weekend - a couple of fans would have made all the difference. (The wall A/C unit didn't cool the bedroom very well.). Other than that it was a great place to spend a couple of days.

Exceeded our expectations!! Private, quiet, peaceful, and BEAUTIFUL home. Got married in SB and stayed here. Our family came over for lunch and everyone could not stop complimenting how incredible beautiful the home was! The backyard… incredible! Very clean, minimalistic, safe and even super close to Starbucks and grocery stores! Perfect location. Bonnie gave clear directions and everything was ready to go! I was sad to check out, can’t wait to come stay here again!

Beautiful cabin, very peaceful and serene. Upon arrival the kitchen window was open for ventilation due to only having one AC unit in the living room, but it allowed a bunch of bugs to come in.. other than that everything else was clean/tidy! Really enjoyed the views through every window.

The cabin is secluded, yet only a few minutes from downtown Carpinteria, the beaches, beautiful sunsets, great restaurants and, just down the street, a great walking trail along the bluffs overlooking the seal sanctuary. I think my favorite part of Bonnie’s place is the deck out the big glass doors. Bounded by beautiful flower beds, it looks out to the avocado grove with hawks, hummingbirds, and a view of the mountain. As a lone female traveler, I always feel safe at the cabin.
