We loved our stay in villino margot very much. Eva, Solange and Adriano were perfect hosts, very attentive, helpful and easy to communicate with. Villino Margot is a seldom treasure and the most amazing place- perfect for a few days of dolce far niente. The carefully designed and decorated house, the gardens full of blooming trees and flowers and the breathtaking views are just everything we could have hoped for. It’s perfect both for lazing around and reading as well as trips to nearby towns like Portofino, Camogli or Genova or scenic walks starting from the house or then little further in Parco Portofino. Coffee and Brioche in the morning, Spritz for apero time and dinner in the evening- all can be reached within a a few minutes walk- and are worth every step of the many stars. Solange, Adriano and Eva were most gracious hosts, easy to communicate with and very polite. Thank you again for this magical spot.

Eva war gut erreichbar und zu jedem Zeitpunkt sehr hilfsbereit. Wir fühlten uns zum zweiten Mal sehr willkommen und genossen das kleine Paradies in vollen Zügen.

The view from this house is truly one of the most beautiful I've ever seen (the number of photos I took is almost comical) and the house is incredibly well appointed and elegantly designed. We were so happy to be able to walk down to the restaurants and beach clubs in Bogliasco (though the walk home is a bear in the August heat), take a food tour in Genoa, spend a day on a boat touring the Golfo Paradiso (per Eva's recommendation), and then just relaxing by the pool. It really is a dream holiday destination. But as others have mentioned, the stairs are a lot and I was glad our teens were game for the walk.

We hebben een heerlijke tijd gehad in het huis met name omdat het van alle gemakken is voorzien. De klimaatbeheersing is fantastisch, het is koel en aangenaam binnen. En dat is fijn als je wat meer binnen bent ivm muggen. Het zwembad is meer dan fantastisch. Het zoute water is aangenaam. Uitzicht is prachtig op zee. Voor ons was het fijn om een paar dagen tot rust te komen. Het hele huis is niet gemakkelijk toegankelijk door de vele trappen. Het weerhield ons er enigszins van om dingen te ondernemen, met name ook door de inspanning in de hitte. Maar omdat het huis zo fijn is, is het voor een aantal dagen dik genieten! Beddengoed is heerlijk. Prachtig ingericht en gedecoreerd. Een aanrader;)
