Renovated Cretan traditional 2 bedrooms house in the village of Exo Mouliana, just 16km away from Sitia. A family home that keeps its history decorated in every wall and corner along with all modern facilities and a big terrace with breath-taking view! You will find everything you need to make you feel like home - nothing like impersonal hotel rooms. A friendly - family atmosphere ideal for all year round holidays! In the main space you will find a fully equipped kitchen, a dinning/sitting area and the fireplace. At the first bedroom (max height 1.80cm) there is a double bed and auxiliary table and a big wardrobe. At the upper level (max height 1.20cm) is the 2nd bedroom area with a double and a single bed. There is also a bathroom with shower and electric water heater for hot water. The terrace is fully equipped and offers a private outdoors shower. Michalis is a great host, very helpfull, very kind and he showed us what the meaning of greek word filoxenia. ♡ House is very clean, you can experience how it is to live in traditional cretan stone house. We loved it very much. Also view from terrace is exepcional. Hope we will meet again soon. ♡

Das Haus von Michalis ist ein toller Ort um sich zu entspannen und ebenso ein guter Startpunkt um die Umgebung zu Fuß zu erwandern. Das Haus ist einfach und liebevoll ausgestattet. Die Terrasse ist ein Ort zum Verweilen und um die Zeit zu vergessen,

Super séjour. Michalis est très accueillant et disponible. Nous avons bien pris le temps de discuter ensemble, c'était plaisant (à l'heure des boites à clef et check in/out autonomes). La maison est très sympa, au calme avec une vue superbe. Je recommande!

Petite maison avec une immense cour et une magnifique vue. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié nos quelques jours en août. La douche extérieure est un plaisir en été. Petit bémol s'il fait plus frais; la douche se situe collée au WC à l'intérieur. C'est également très bas de plafond dans la mezzanine.

Καταπληκτικό Παραδοσιακό σπίτι! Το χωριό μας άρεσε πάρα πολύ ! Εξυπηρετικοί και ο Μιχάλης και η Γεωργία! Πολύ καθαρό σπίτι, πλήρως εξοπλισμένο με όλα τα απαραίτητα. Υπέροχη βεράντα, αυλή ! Τέλεια θέα! Θα ξαναπάμε σίγουρα !

The house is located in a very quiet neighbourhood only few minutes walking distance from village’s market/ grocery shop, the taverns with local food and drink and of course the famous Waterfall of Richtis that will amaze you!
Mouliana village is connected with all major cities of Crete (Sitia, Ierapetra, Agios Nikolaos, Heraklion,Chania etc) by the national road and now with the new bridge Sitia city is just 10 minutes away.
The nearest airport is Sitia Vitzentzos Kornaros Airport with code name JSH (17 km). Heraklion airport with code name HER is also convenient (114km).

Mouliana is the perfect spot if you like to explore the east part of Crete so hiring a car is recommended. Since you are already here there are few things that you must not miss to visit:
a) If you are travelling towards Sitia/ Ierapetra
1) The waterfall of Richtis few km away from the house
2) The last palm forest of Europe "Vai",
3) The medieval monastery "Toplou" with their famous wines and olive oil,
4) Exotic beaches such as Erimoupoli, Kouremenos and Xerokampos etc
5) Traditional villages like Kato Zakros, Makry Gialos etc.
6) The famous Xrysi Island – The boats for Xrysi Island are leaving from Ierapetra’s port.
b) If you are travelling towards Agios Nikolaos
1) The city of Agios Nikolaos and the lake Voulismeni
2) Visit the Cretan Olive Oil Farm
3) Amazing beaches such as Almyros and Ammoudi
4) Spinalonga Island
