I had a wonderful stay with Helen. Her accommodation was ideal for activities in Fort William and the surrounding area, for example going up Ben Nevis, and as a final accommodation for the West Highland Way. Helen was a great and very hospitable host who gave lots of good tips for the area and knew her way around very well. She even took me to Ben Nevis one day so that I didn't have to walk or take the bus and also lent me equipment. The accommodation was as described, very quiet, clean and good for relaxing, with a handy kitchen and a very useful drying room. Check-in and check-out were straightforward and communication beforehand was smooth. I would highly recommend Helen's accommodation, especially if you are a solo traveler in Fort William.

Fantastic couple of days! Helen was really kind and helpful, she sent me clear instructions for finding the place and letting myself in while she was out. Everything was clean and tidy and it immediately felt like home. Would highly recommend if you're in Fort William for a few days!

Helen was very friendly and helpful. Even though I spent most of the time alone in the house, she made an effort to make sure I was comfortable and doing okay, texting me regularly and responding quickly. She prepared a Welcome-Pack where she explained how to get around the house which was very helpful and productive, this way I could make myself at home. Her warm and welcoming attitude made me feel at ease, when she was there as well. It‘s not too difficult to get to her house, which has an amazing view and the possibility for lots of hiking trails, for which Helen has several prospects and maps prepared for you. I found her house clean and cozy. I would definitely visit again if I should return to Fort William sometime!
