Located less than a minute walk to Ramana ashram, this is the ideal place to stay if you are in Tiruvanamallai. Spread across a large compound, it is extremely peaceful despite being located on the busy highway. The room is also huge and has all the essential amenities. The ladies and the watchman working there are also helpful Will definitely stay here again next time.

The White Room in Bose Compound was a great place to stay in Tiruvannamalaai, it was a haven in the trees, a couple of hundred metres away from the very busy main road. The monkeys that live near the room were always very entertaining and Kumar the caretaker at the property was always very helpful and friendly. Overall, its a great place to stay in Tiru and it's the place I'd choose to stay at when I next come back.

I felt welcomed. It was easy to find and only 5min from Ramanasram. Surrounded by lots of trees which are attracting lots of monkeys. So to do Yoga on the terrace was not possible for me because they were coming in a big crowd. But it was than really beautiful to observe them in the morning laying in bed watching out. Its an old house - so for indian standard it was clean. Dont except a fresh clean blinky place. I have to say i aprreciated the house very much - it was away from the hustle of the main road - you have your own kitchen - everything you need. And Tara put a lot of love for detail in the house. In the furniture - in the pictures on the wall. What i want to mention and i really appreciated was the very nice good quality bed sheets. The helpers/guards of the place where supportive when i needed there help and it attracts other nice people who staying in the compound. I enjoyed my 4 nights staying there. Thank you!!

Tara's house is really beautiful. Felt like home. Liked the house very much as it reminded me of old days. Its location is very close to main market and Ramanashram. It is serene there and it has lots of greenery. The house had good collection of spiritual books to read. Kitchen had facility for cooking with utensils etc. Wi-fi is also there. Fridge is there. There is a balcony too but because of monkeys, could not use it much. I did see swarm of red ants. I could not keep anything eatable outside of the fridge. I recommend pest control for that. There is no power back up and one full day there was a scheduled power outage. The stairs to the entrance is very narrow and getting baggage up/down through them was inconvenient but manageable.
