Fantastic place to stay in Rarotonga. Spacious, clean cottage and Joe & Odette are excellent hosts.

Joseph has a lovely spread and wonderful animals on the property. Everything is kept so nice. From his place I could easily ride the bicycle to Muri Lagoon, and the several ancient sites in the area. Also, the very popular Vilis burger joint is just down the hill and the handy KAPS market. Joe welcomed me to an incredible breakfast spread on his deck with other guests. Meitaki Atupaka! :)

Joe and Odette were amazing host, albeit short time, it was great to meet them and totally understand the amazing feedback from other commenters about their warmth and hospitality- amazing spread for breakfast aswel. A blessing in disguise was being offered to move up the road by a friend and all i can say is it was the best time of my trip. I met the amazing Nan and Ruth, and gave the same warmth and hospitality as Joe and Odette. The location was amazing up in the hills, and the walk seem to be different everytime. I could go on, and on about the hospitality and warmth given but i will end with simply Thank you to Nan, Odette, and Joe; and will see you all again soon. Anthony

Joe's place gives one a true Cook Island experience. Rarotonga is a wonderful place with lots to do. Beautiful beaches and mountains and very friendly people. If you're an English speaker it's a real delight. Everyone speaks it. From Joe's one can walk to get all one needs including cash from the nearby ATM, fuel for your rental vehicle, groceries and drink of all kinds. The bus system is very good and inexpensive. I rode it all the time. The breakfasts three days a week are not your usual small B&B affairs but a real breakfast with all manner of good fresh island food. The grounds contain more types of fruit than one can name and lots of beautiful flowers. Joe and Odette are the salt of the Earth and will share all of their knowledge of the Cooks with you. Your privacy is always guaranteed. I can't say enough good things about my stay. I will go back.
