What a pleasure it was meeting Mauro, Laura and family and staying on their beautiful farm! They were consummate hosts! A pictureseque and gorgeous setting yet a 10 minute walk into Villamassargia shops, cafes and markets etc. No limit of what to do in the area from the plethora of archeological sites to the stunning white sand beach at Plage Mesu. We will be coming back and staying longer next time! So much that we have yet to explore in the area...

Mauro und Laura sind wundervolle Gastgeber und haben sich hervorragend um uns gesorgt. Die Kommunikation vor der Anreise und während unseres Aufenthalts war einfach und pro-aktiv. Die Unterkunft liegt sehr schön und absolut ruhig gelegen mit Blick in die Olivenfelder. Für Kinder sind die vielen Tiere auf dem Grundstück natürlich super spannend. Die Zimmer sind sehr geräumig und man hat alles was man braucht. Das Meer ist nicht sehr weit weg, es gibt im Ort einen ausreichend großen Supermarkt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können die Unterkunft absolut weiter empfehlen.

Nous avons passé une merveilleuse semaine chez Laura et Mauro. Ils nous ont accueillis chaleureusement avec leur huile d'olive, leurs olives et œufs de leur jardin. Un régal ! Le logement est située sous leur maison avec vue sur les champs d'oliviers mais laisse une grande intimité. Il a une très grande piece à vivre avec tous les équipements nécessaires ainsi que des parasols et jeux pour la plage (très utile quand on vient en avion) La piscine est très agréable pour se rafraîchir et bien plus grande que sur la photo ! Les enfants ont été ravis d aller voir et nourrir les animaux (ânes, cheval, poules, chien, chats,..) Un beau lieu et une belle rencontre où malgré les difficultés de la langue, nous avons pu tout de même avoir de beaux échanges. Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés, pour le cadre, le calme, et la gentillesse des propriétaires.

We stayed 11 days at Villa Manca with our 14 year daughter and had a perfect holiday there. Mauro and Laura were very kind and friendly with gifts of olives, olive oil and eggs. They were always happy to chat and give advise on where to go but also respected our privacy. The apartment was under the main house, very cool in the summer, and surrounded by a huge garden/ farm. My daughter loved feeding the cats and donkeys and there were also two dogs, chickens, ducks and a horse. The swimming pool was bigger than expected and was always clean and well maintained, with great views of the mountains. The apartment is close enough that you can walk to village, luckily during our stay two events were held in the village, an international music event and the Village Saints day, both very enjoyable. Butcher, baker, supermarket and two Pizzerias all close by. There is plenty to do and see in the surrounding countryside and beaches are truly stunning. We highly recommend. Thank you so much.
